Pirate golfers fire a 266 for first at Tekoa

TEKOA, Wash. — Pomeroy won the boys competition here Saturday in prep golf action. With spring break continuing, only the top three finishers figured into the team scoring. The Pirates took first with a 266 total over the Par 70 course.

The Pirates Jacob Tewalt took medalist honors with a round of 83. Riley Bott finished three shots off his teammate’s pace with a round of 86.

Other Pirate finishers were Tyson Feider with a 97, Cameron Lueck with a 103, Spencer Craigie with a 119and Jacob Schuh with a 122.

On the girls side, Teresa Meyers captured medalist honors for the Pirates. Meyers fired a 101.

The Pirates travel to face St. John-Endicott on Tuesday for a 2 p.m. tee time.
