The Walla Walla Visitor Center changes its schedule to summer hours this week.
Starting Wednesday, the visitor window, located at 26 E. Main St., between the Mark Ryan tasting room and McDonald Zaring Insurance, will operate seven days a week, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Tourism Walla Walla announced.
The operation also has a spruced up look. A fresh coat of paint has been added to the interior, and signs will soon be updated on the outside, Tourism said.
A second sliding window has also been added to allow access to an iPad for visitors wanting to purchase tickets to local events during the busiest times.
The visitor center is funded by Tourism Walla Walla and the Downtown Walla Walla Foundation as a resource for visitors and locals seeking information on attractions, events and more.
