Walla Walla

Tire damaged in the 500 block of Balm Street.

A 40-year-old woman reported her ex-boyfriend in Arizona was withdrawing money from her Social Security and child support accounts.

A slow-speed rear-end collision reported on West Rose Street near Colville Street. A 56-year-old man who had recently had neck and back surgery was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Walla Walla County

A 44-year-old woman reported a 21-year-old man has been using her Social Security number.

Single-vehicle collision on Old Highway 12 near Wallula Avenue. A 45-year-old woman said she was forced off the road by another vehicle.

Five steers reported missing near Mill Creek Road between Seven Mile Road and Wickersham Bridge.

Single-vehicle crash on Foster Road north of Cottonwood road: no injuries reported.

A 14-year-old girl confronted another girl at Walla Walla High School, sparking a scuffle. A witness reported the girls had ongoing issues with each other, possibly related to a boyfriend. Both girls were suspended.

A service truck, air compressor, welder and multiple power tools were reported stolen from a farm shop in the 8500 block of State Route 125. The truck and most of the tools were later found abandoned in the 800 block of West Rees Avenue.


Fuel reported stolen in the 200 block of East Patit Avenue.


A 54-year-old woman was taken to Providence St. Mary Medical Center for evaluation after reporting she had just “grappled” with intruders in her home. The woman said she then fired three .22 rifle rounds into her bedroom as a warning. A 79-year-old man who shares the home did not witness the shots as he had locked himself in his bedroom to get away from the woman’s yelling. He said there had not been anyone else in the house. Deputies found three bullet holes in the bedroom, including one left by a bullet that exited the home in the direction of several neighboring homes.


Shed burglarized in the 52000 block of County Road.

A pitbull dog wearing rosary beads as a collar reportedly found in the 51000 block of Highway 332.

Umatilla County

Residential burglary reported on Basket Mountain Road near Weston.
