With a theme of “Dancing on hardwood floors under the stars,” Milton-Freewater Rotary Club 294’s Summertime Festival at the restored 1892 Frazier Farmstead Museum will be from 6-10 p.m. June 28, according to Rotarian Jim Stanton.

Admission will be $35 per person and tickets will go on sale May 15. Call the museum at 541-938-4636 for tickets and other details.

Base of the Blues Bash, another Rotary fundraiser in the works for later this year, could possibly be held in the new National Guard Armory, 149 S. Main St.

Several Rotarians toured the site and said they were impressed with the improvements.

The facility was designed to also be used for community events.

The selection of the musical part of the Bash program is nearly finalized and the food menu is shaping up.

Milton-Freewater Rotary holds meetings at 11:45 a.m. Tuesdays in the Milton-Freewater Community Building, 109 N.E. Fifth St. For details, online see home.rmci.net/robby/MFRotary/ or contact Rotarian Robby Robbins at 541-938-6523 or robby@valint.net .
