DeSales baseball dominates G-P/T-0, 12-0 and 16-1

WALLA WALLA — The DeSales High School baseball team blanked Garfield-Palouse/Tekoa-Oakesdale, 12-0 and 16-1, both in five innings in Southeast 2B action here Saturday.

Irish pitcher Connor Richard pitched a shutout, allowing just one hit to Wyatt Griner in the first inning of game one.

DeSales pitchers Adam Eskil and Isaiah Standard combined for a no-hitter in game two, but did allow one run.

The Irish hurlers combined for 16 strikeouts and seven walks.

Daryl Galloway led the Irish offense with three RBIs in game one.

In the night cap, Eskil, Tyler Jacobson and Matt Jubb all drove in three runs. Eskil also blasted a home run in the game.

The Irish (9-2, 6-1 league) have nine games remaining in the regular season.
