Walla Walla

Police on Thursday arrested Tyson Chilton, 30, in connection with a pepper spray assault Monday in Heritage Square park.

A purse was taken from a vehicle parked at the 200 block of W. Maple Street early Thursday morning.

Walla Walla County

A noninjury rollover crash occurred Wednesday 10:45 p.m. at Middle Waitsburg Road north of Smith Road when the driver swerved to avoid a deer.

A resident of the 500 block of Prospect Court on Thursday reported the theft of a lawn trimmer, blower and gas can from a trailer.

A camper at Hood Park in Burbank reported the theft of a bicycle sometime Monday to Wednesday.


Two bags of tools were taken Thursday from a pickup parked at the 100 block of S. Main Street.

A NW Ninth Avenue resident reported the theft of a Honda mower.

A S. Mill Street resident reported the theft of a 1977 Yamaha motorcycle.

Umatilla County

A Lower Dry Creek resident report a vehicle was abandoned in front of his house.

An Eastside Road resident reported witnessing the theft of mail. The suspect’s vehicle sped off when the witness approached the vehicle.

A resident of W. Ferndale Road reported the theft of a broken motor scooter

A N. Elizabeth Street resident reported the theft of a bicycle.
