Walla Walla

A car struck a motorcyclist in the intersection of Melrose Street and Wellington Avenue around 10 a.m. on Tuesday. The motorcyclist suffered abrasions, the driver fled the scene and was arrested on East Isaacs Avenue near Airport Road.

A 35-year-old man was arrested and taken to the hospital after jumping to the ground from the second story of the Best Western on East Oak Street, damaging a rain gutter and window screen.


Burglary of house on Lower Dry Creek Road, van reported stolen.

Attempted break-in reported on Phillips Road, no items missing but door was broken.


WW Police

Casey Ryan Moody, 38, 60940 Mill Creek Road, Walla Walla, Tuesday. Charge: hit-and-run injury.
