Irish subdued in second half, fall 78-55

WALLA WALLA — DeSales’ Cole Miedema and Darryl Galloway scored 12 points apiece in a 78-55 loss to Tri-Cities Prep here Friday night.

Zachery Leahy contributed eight points and Cameron Richman added seven.

The Irish trailed by just five points at halftime but were outscored by 18 in the second half.

Tri-Cities Prep nailed six 3-pointers to zero by DeSales.

The Irish host defending Class 1B state champion Sunnyside Christian Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
