Walla Walla

A 26-year-old mother reported that her ex-boyfriend’s new girlfriend was “exploiting” the mother’s child by posting nude photos of the 16-month-old boy playing in the bathtub on Facebook.

A 58-year-old man reported that a 73-year-old man punched him in the face “for no reason” following the Super Bowl.

A 28-year-old man became upset after his mother and step-father confronted him about smoking marijuana in the house and being late with his rent payment. The man threw a mint tin at his step father, “then things become more physical,” according to police. The 28-year-old was arrested on investigation of domestic violence.

Rear-end collision at the intersection of Plaza Way and Tietan Street: no injuries reported.

Rear-end collision reported at McDonald’s Drive through: no injuries reported.

One-vehicle collision due to icy road conditions reported on Isaacs Avenue: no injuries reported.

Walla Walla County

Chain saw reported stolen from the 1700 block of Reser Road.

One-vehicle collision at the intersection of Myra Road and Electric Avenue: no injuries reported.

One-vehicle collision on Lower Waitsburg Road at Bergevin Springs: no injuries reported.

Vehicle versus deer collision at Heritage and Myra roads: no injuries reported to humans.

A 71-year-old fencing contractor was bitten in the leg by a border collie named “Sparky.”

College Place

Car on fire in the Del Taco drive-through lane. Police helped push the car into the Les Schwab Tires parking area: no injuries reported.


A couple found a safe floating near a swim dock at Charboneau Park. The safe showed signs of tampering, but was still locked. It was turned over to the Sheriff’s Office.

A 15-horsepower motor reported stolen from an Army Corps of Engineers boat in the 2300 block of Monument Drive.

Mail reported stolen from the 1300 block of Lake Road. The correspondence was found under a tree by Fish and Game officers at McNary Wildlife Refuge.


CP Police

Kris E. Carver, 40, 215 S.E. California Avenue, Sunday. Charge: investigation of driving while intoxicated.
