SOAP LAKE, Wash. — Walla Walla Valley Academy’s Cam Fitzgerald and Dustin Rose led the way offensively as the Knights downed Soap Lake, 54-47, here on Tuesday.

Fitzgerald scored a team-high 17 points on 6-of-11 shooting and Rose added 12 on two 3-pointers.

Caleb King came up with four points, but his 15 rebounds helped WWVA (11-8, 7-3 in Southeast 2B) keep up with the athletic front line of Soap Lake.

Knights coach Scott Wagner credited his team’s defense in the win, as WWVA restricted the Eagles to only 30 percent shooting in the game.
