Walla Walla

One-vehicle collision due to snow and ice at the Howard Street and Park Street intersection. No injuries reported.

A motorist drove into a snow bank in the 400 block of West Main Street. No injuries reported.

A motorist struck an unoccupied, parked car near the intersection of Third Avenue and Rose Street and fled the scene.

Icy conditions were responsible for several collisions over the weekend. Vehicles sliding on icy surfaces and hitting another vehicle occurred at 3:01 p.m. Sunday at North Clinton Street and East Isaacs Avenue and at 4:37 p.m. Sunday at South Wilbur Avenue and East Alder Street. Another accident occurred at 3:53 p.m. Saturday when a vehicle backed into a second vehicle in a parking lot in the 600 block of South Ninth Avenue.

Two vehicles parked in the 200 block of Parish Street were reported damaged early Saturday morning.

Walla Walla County

A 44-year-old man reported his full-grown Newfoundland-cross dog bit his hand while the man was attempting to break up a “heated barking dispute” with a neighbor dog.

One-vehicle collision on the Snake River bridge on State Route 12. No injuries reported.

College Place

A Southeast Mountain View Drive resident attempted to drive through a snowbank in her driveway created by a snow blower. The car got stuck, and “she is now stuck, unable to walk in the slipperiness.”


Vehicle versus deer collision on Highway 12 near mile post 361. No injuries reported: “Both left the scene.”


Laptop computer stolen from a table at Safeway.

Icy conditions caused a two-vehicle accident at 10:30 a.m. Sunday in the 300 block of South Columbia Avenue. No injuries were reported.

Antique lamp stolen and a garbage container lock cut in the 110 block of South Main Street.

The Sinclair fuel station on Highway 11 was burglarized. Cigarettes reported stolen.
