CMBell Company, a corporate communications company in College Place, won awards for two creative projects in the 11th annual Service Industry Advertising Awards competition.

The business received merit awards for a video on nine myths associated with private nonprofit higher education produced with the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities, and for Walla Walla University’s 2014 student employment calendar. The latter was sent to employers to promote hiring Walla Walla University students.

The entries were judged among about 1,700 others by a national panel of experts. Criteria included creativity, quality, message effectiveness, consumer appeal, graphic design and overall impact.

CMBell, led by President DeLona Lang Bell, is in its 17th year of business. The firm specializes in communications, branding and marketing. The award-winning entries can be seen here and here.
