A two-vehicle, noninjury rear-end collision occurred Thursday at 8 p.m. at West Poplar Street and Sixth Avenue.
A city garbage trucker driver became unconscious Friday 7:46 a.m. while driving on J Street near Lark Drive. The truck slowly came to rest at 2020 J Street and did damage to a chain-link fence. The driver was transported to a hospital.
Graffiti was reported Thursday at 214 W. Sumach Street.
A backpack was taken Monday morning from a patron of the Sherwood Center, 47 S. Park St.
A package was stolen from the mail Thursday afternoon at a residence on the 400 block of Lincoln Street.
Walla Walla County
Two Molotov cocktails were thrown at a residence on the 800 block of Ankeny Street Thursday, 7:58 p.m. The devices caused a small fire in the front lawn of the residence. During the incident a device was thrown through the front window, but the structure was not damaged by fire. An investigation is continuing.
On Thursday, a student at Vista Hermosa Foundation school, 1111 Fishhook Park Road, reported seeing another student with a pellet gun. Deputies investigated and questioned a number of youths. The matter was turned over to school officials.
