Walla Walla

Police cited a 19-year-old man for shoplifting alcohol at Safeway on Plaza Way, then arrested him on outstanding warrants.

Two men reportedly stole tip money from Dutch Brother’s Coffee.

A 39-year-old woman reported her iPhone 4 and three bottles of prescription medication were stolen from her locker at the YMCA.

Walla Walla County

Deputies responded to a report of a violation of a protection order between neighbors on Hatch Grade in Wallula. Deputies spotted the suspect, a 77-year-old man, driving in his truck and pulled him over on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. The 77-year-old said he “wouldn’t tell anyone if we let him drive home” so his truck wouldn’t get towed, deputies reported. Instead the man was arrested on investigation of drunken driving, violating a protection order and first degree driving while suspended.

Wallet, identification and $130 cash reported stolen from a vehicle in the 00 block of Campbell Road.


Tailgate reportedly stolen from a pickup on Triangle Road.

A West Ferndale Road resident reported a pit bull dog was damaging her yard.

A man was treated at St. Mary Medical Center after a dog belonging to a family friend bit him on the nose at a West Ferndale Road residence.

Motorcycle reported stolen from an Eastside Road residence.

A Highway 332 resident reported his wife bit his wrist, pulled his hair, and “kept smacking him in the face and grabbing him by the throat.” The man left the scene, and reported this was his “soon-to-be-ex wife.”

Umatilla County

Tools reported stolen from a Weston residence on North Franklin Street.

A cabin on Western Larch Lane, near Weston, reportedly broken into. A snowmobile was reported stolen and the cabin ransacked.
