Gasoline prices rise in Washington, Oregon

BELLEVUE, Wash. (AP) — The AAA auto club reports the average price of a gallon of gasoline in Washington is $3.35. That’s up 2 cents in a week, but 2 cents lower than the national average and 28 cents lower than a year ago.

In Oregon, the average price is $3.32, up 4 cents in a week but nickel lower than the national average and 31 cents lower than a year ago in the state.

Some metro prices from Tuesday’s AAA survey: Portland $3.30, Salem $3.27, Eugene-Springfield $3.37, and Medford-Ashland $3.37.
