Walla Walla

Police responded to a report of shots fired near 10th Avenue and Birch Street. Officers noted several “subjects” fled the area, and officers are reviewing surveillance video. Police also reported a woman was trying to find her 23-year-old husband at local hospitals because he had been shot in the leg. The gang-affiliated man is wanted on felony warrants according to police.

A storage unit at Lincoln High School was burglarized and an elephant statue was damaged.

A backpack containing an mp3 player and medications reported stolen at Walla Walla Community College.

Walla Walla County

Two laptop computers and a gun safe containing four handguns reported stolen from a residence in the 600 block of Detour Road.

Dayton

Tools reported stolen in the 500 block of East Richmond Avenue.

College Place

Attempted vehicle prowl reported in the 100 block of Southeast 10th Street.

Milton-Freewater

Laptop reported stolen from a residence in the 300 block of North Elizabeth.

Two snowmobiles and trailer reported stolen in the 84000 block of Highway 339.

Arrests

WW Police

Drew M. Walker, 29, 1032 Valencia St., Wednesday. Charge: investigation of possession of methamphetamine, possession of a firearm with altered indentification and unlwaful possession of a firearm.

MF Police

Erick P. Kynaston, 29, 618 County Road, Wednesday. Charge: investigation of first degree burglary.
