Walla Walla

An attempted theft from a vehicle at the 700 block of Statesman Street was interrupted by a resident. Suspect fled.

A two-vehicle, noninjury collision occurred Thursday 5:05 p.m. at the intersection of Chase Avenue and Malcolm Street. A driver failed to yield right-of-way.

Walla Walla County

A two-vehicle collision occurred at 1858 Mill Creek Road Thursday 9:12 a.m. when the driver of an 1993 Dodge 250 pickup failed to yield when entering the roadway and was hit by a Ford F-350 pickup.

A single-vehicle, noninjury collision occurred on Lower Waitsburg Road about 2.2 miles south Miller Road Thursday 7:37 a.m. when a vehicle slid into a ditch.

The Rainbow Girls concession stand at the Waitsburg fairgrounds was broken into Thursday night. The door was found open and a window damaged.

Milton-Freewater

A flatbed trailer with a load of steel was reported stolen Thursday from Mid Valley Enterprises, 516 N. Main St.
