100 dancers to animate ‘The Windy Wizard of Walla Walla'

WALLA WALLA — Nancy Wells and The Walla Walla Dance Company will present “The Windy Wizard of Walla Walla” at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 18 at Cordiner Hall, 46 S. Park St.

More than 100 dancers will perform new choreography in jazz, contemporary, ballet and hip hop in this entertaining family show.

As the original story unfolds, technology and industry has taken over the planet.

Farms, forests, gardens and seasons are only experienced on a computer screen.

Children no longer play and Mother Nature has gone

into hiding.

The Wizard of Walla Walla leads four bright, inquisitive kids on a quest through ice and snow, wind and rain to find the illusive Mother Nature.

She brings them the beauty and bounty that Earth has to offer and they all dance in the delight of their garden.

Tickets are on sale at Earthlight Books and at the box office.

Reserved seats are $15; general admission is $12; and student and senior tickets are $10.
