WALLA WALLA — The Walla Walla Council on Homelessness will host “Invisible Walla Walla: A Realistic Look at Homelessness in the Valley.”
The experience will be on Wednesday from 5:30-9 p.m., at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 323 Catherine St.
It will include a soup and bread meal hosted by St. Paul’s soup ministry; donations for the meal are welcome.
The meal will be followed by a walking tour of sites where people living in homelessness are known to shelter.
It will conclude with a presentation and discussion on this important subject matter.
Participants should dress warmly, bring a small flashlight and wear shoes suitable for walking.
The event is intended to raise awareness of how homelessness looks in Walla Walla, organizers say.
