Rose, Cosaert lead Knights to win versus Asotin

WALLA WALLA — Walla Walla Valley Academy’s Dustin Rose and Matt Cosaert combined for 36 of the Knights points in a 59-55 win over Asotin.

Caleb King had a double-double with 10 points and 10 boards.

WWVA outrebounded Asotin 37-25 and shot 48 percent from the floor, while holding Asotin to only 33 percent shooting.

“Overall, solid team defense,” WWVA coach Scott Wagner said. “We communicated well and rebounded as a team good enough to beat a solid Asotin team.”
