Walla Walla accounting firm Thompson & Kreitzberg has started the year with a new name and brand.
The firm’s is now known as TKCPA. Its name change will be accompanied by a more updated look. The evolution, partners announce, is designed to incorporate “the next generation of technology and services.
The transition comes not only as the firm utilizes more technology but also as it continues to grow.
The firm was founded in 1985 by Hal Thompson and Jane Kreitzberg. In 1996 Kreitzberg retired. Six years later Kristal Hassler joined the operation. She became a partner in 2006.
Since then, the firm has added an office in Moses Lake for Hassler’s Columbia Basin clients. Last year it also merged with Jim Johnson’s practice. Now comes the latest: As of Jan. 1, certified public accountant Teresa A.”Teri” Wagner has joined TKCPA after serving clients at her own practice for years in Walla Walla.
“It will be great to add Teri and her talents to our team,” Hassler said in the announcement. “She has an excellent reputation in the community and I know her clients will be well taken care of with our excellent and professional staff.”
The changes will be part of an Open House celebration at TKCPA’s newly remodeled office, 5 W. Alder St., suite 215, on Jan. 23.
“We are very excited about our new name and brand,” Thompson said in the announcement. “We are making great shifts in using the latest accounting technology and business tools for our clients and we wanted a name and look to represent that.
In addition to the new look, TKCPA has launched a new website at www.tkcpa.com , featuring a comprehensive suite of tax and accounting services offered within the firm’s online platform.
