Nixyaawii hands Helix boys Big Sky loss

HELIX — The Helix boys basketball dropped a Big Sky League game to Nixyaawii 71-37 on Tuesday.

The Golden Eagles posted 23 points in the opening quarter and never looked back from there, as Nixyaawii had three players finish in double figures.

Helix’s Jason Bushman scored a game-high 18 points, but no other Grizzlies player scored more than eight. Brandon Thompson finished with eight points and 10 rebounds.

Helix faces Condon-Wheeler on Friday.
