Pomeroy boys ride past L-W/K

WASHTUCNA — The Pomeroy Pirates boys jumped out to an early lead and rode it to victory over Lacrosse-Washtucna/Kahlotus in a Southeast 1B League tilt here Tuesday night, 63-42.

Cody LaMunyan paced the Pirates’ charge with 17 points, while Riley Bott added 13 and Tyson Feider chipped in with 10.

The victory moves Pomeroy to 11-1 overall and 7-1 in league play. The Pirates host Tekoa-Oakesdale at 7:30 p.m. Friday, and travel to St. John-Endicott on Saturday.
