Tom Waliser appointed to another term on wine board

Tom Waliser of Beresan Winery was appointed to another term on the Washington Wine Industry Foundation Board.

The organization focuses on meeting the needs of the grape and wine industry, including leadership, scholarships, education and research, according to a release. The foundation builds partnerships to accomplish priorities identified by the industry.

Waliser is the lone representative from Walla Walla. Fellow board members reappointed for another term include Rob Sullivan of O-S Winery in Bellevue, Carol Munro of Ste. Michelle Wine Estates and Simon Siegl of Coefficient Consulting in Seattle.

Officers for 2014 are Chairman Roger Gamache of Gamache Vintners in Mesa, Vice-Chair Carol Munro, and Secretary/Treasurer Rob Sullivan.

Other board members are: Greg Lill of DeLille Cellars, Woodinville; Paul Champoux of Champoux Vineyards, Prosser; Stephanie Meier of Stoel Rives, Seattle; Jamie Peha of Peha Promotions LLC, Kenmore; Bill Shibley of Northwest Farm Credit Services, Pasco; Bradley Walker of Walker and Associates, Seattle; and Mark Wheeler of Saddle Mountain Vineyards, Seattle.
