Walla Walla Symphony to present local vocalist (with video)

WALLA WALLA — The Walla Walla Symphony will present a small, intimate concert featuring soprano Monica Griffin Hunter at 7:30 p.m. at the Walla Walla Community College Performing Arts Auditorium, 500 Tausick Way.

Light refreshments and the opportunity to meet Griffin Hunter follow the performance.

Griffin Hunter has a doctorate of musical arts from the University of Michigan, a master of music degree in vocal performance from Shepherd School of Music, Rice University and the bachelors in music from Texas Wesleyan University.

Her additional study was completed at the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria.

As a soprano soloist, Griffin Hunter has been featured soprano in a number of choral settings and operatic roles.

Tickets for this performance are $20 for adults, $10 for students and $5 for youth.
