Walla Walla market robbed by gunmen


WALLA WALLA — Two men armed with guns Thursday evening robbed the Los Tapatios store at 114 S. Ninth Avenue, according to police.

The men entered the store Thursday 6:43 p.m. wearing hoodies and some type of face coverings. They fired three shots and demanded cash, police said.

Two employees and one customer were in the store at the time. No injuries were reported.

After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the two armed men took off running.

Police said they believe a vehicle was waiting nearby.

One man was described as being 6-feet or taller and the other was noticeably shorter.
