Helix boys go cold in fourth, fall to Arlington, 54-46

HELIX — Helix’s boys held a 43-35 lead into the fourth quarter, but couldn’t find the bucket in a three-point final eight minutes to fall to Arlington, 54-46, here Friday.

Jason Bushman scored 17 points, with Derek Clark putting up 15, to lead the Grizzlies.

Zack Blinn had 23 to lead Arlington.

“It was our game to win,” Helix coach Jeff Newtson said. “We got cold in the fourth quarter.”

The Grizzlies host Nixyaawii at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
