Is it just me or does anyone else see the hypocrisy of the Republicans using Benghazi as their rallying cry, but voting on a budget that cuts hundreds of millions of dollars from embassy security?
Bruce - I notice you did not relate to the author of the budget legislation (Washington's own Senator Patty Murray) about the restraints placed in the bill. Senator Murray portrays to be a solid leader behind the military and veterans and just presented the legislation to kick the legs right out from under the Walla Walla VA Hospital. Where does hypocrisy live?
With the passing of the bill keeps the whiney Democrats from screeching that the Republicans shut down the government because they didn't kowtow to the Dems wishes. What a wonderful world we live in?
Especially when we have folks like you that are so biased and partisan that you can't refer to the opposition without your odious and nauseating invectives. Take note: no one cares what you "think".
Well obviously downhillracer YOU care because you responded! How nice?
LOL - typical response....................
The Department of State Operations and Embassy Security Authorization Act, Fiscal Year 2014 (H.R. 2848) is a bill that was introduced in the United States House of Representatives during the 113th United States Congress. The bill would authorize $17,573,992,000 to be appropriated to improve the security of U.S. Embassies throughout the world. If the bill were enacted, it would be the first time in ten years that a State Department authorizations bill was passed by Congress. How then can you claim that Republican budget cuts hundreds of millions from embassy security?
