COLLEGE PLACE — AARP Driver Safety is debuting its new Smart Driver Course. The new curriculum was developed to help drivers 50 and older stay current with driving laws and new technologies inside and outside of vehicles.
The course focuses on areas where older drivers could benefit from additional training, including roundabouts, pavement markings, stop-sign compliance and safety issues such as speeding and seat belt and turn signal use.
The fee is $20 per course, with a $5 discount for AARP members.
The course options in the area are as follows:
