A single vehicle collision with injuries occurred at 21365 E. Highway 12 Thursday 1:46 a.m. The driver, Robert Aaron Hawes, 32, of Dayton, was reported to have been speeding when he failed to navigate a turn, drove off the road and struck a tree and mailbox.
An inmate at the Walla Walla County Jail, 300 W. Alder St., punched a television. Officers reported the incident and turned it over to the prosecutor.
A compressor was stolen from a garage at the 100 block of Wilshire Street between Jan. 24-30.
Approximately 40-60 pounds of copper cable was stolen from the 1300 block of Hindman Road near Touchet Thursday overnight.
