Letter - Friends of Aviary aims to rebuild structure

Over the last three years, the Friends of Pioneer Park Aviary have been working diligently to save a valuable community asset. So far, so good.

This past weekend, the board kicked off its capital campaign drive trying to raise the balance needed to complete the rebuild of the main net structure. The group is canvassing neighborhoods and leaving pledge cards on every door in Walla Walla and College Place.

When you receive it, please take a moment to fill it out. If you prefer the paperless route, go to our website at: friendsofpioneerparkaviary.org. to make your pledge. If you have a moment to spare and would like to walk your neighborhood, we would welcome the help.

Please consider coming together with us to help rebuild the aging structure and continue to provide a wonderful experience for all who visit. Remember, it’s for the birds!
