WALLA WALLA — Entries are now being accepted for the 65th annual Walla Walla All-City Championships golf tournament.
The always-popular 36-hole event has been scheduled for Aug. 9-10, with the opening round of play at Veterans Memorial Golf Course and the concluding round at the Walla Walla Country Club.
The entry fee is $75 for players holding season passes at Memorial or the Wine Valley Golf Club and those who are golfing members at the country club. The entry fee for all others is $100.
Entry fees include both rounds of golf plus a barbecue buffet dinner following play each day.
Participating players must be 18 years of age or older, maintain a USGA handicap at Memorial, Wine Valley, the country club or the Milton-Freewater Municipal Golf Course, and they must reside within 30 miles of Walla Walla.

Play will commence at 8 a.m. each day on graduated tee times.
Entry forms are available at the Memorial, country club and Wine Valley pro shops. The entry deadline is Aug. 7 and the field will be limited to the first 120 players who sign up.

Sponsorship money will be used to bolster prize money and help with other tournament incidentals, according to Chris Repass, head golf professional at Memorial.
