Dayton resident Donna Faye Brooks, 63, passed away May 30, 2014, at her home.
Donna was born Sept. 7, 1950, in Walla Walla, to Donald Dean and Audrey Eloise Bergman Roberts. She attended Walla Walla schools, graduating from Wa-Hi in 1969. Following her high school graduation, she attended Demure Beauty School in Walla Walla, and later studied nursing at Walla Walla Community College.
On Nov. 19, 1970, she and Philip Brooks married in Walla Walla. They moved to Dayton in 1979. Donna worked as a certified nursing assistant at the Dayton General Hospital for 16 years.
Donna enjoyed camping, deer hunting and fishing. She was a member of the North American Hunting Club.
She is survived by her husband at their home; two sons, “PJ” Philip Brooks Jr. of Spokane, and George Brooks of Yakima; a brother, Donald Roberts of Kennewick; eight grandchildren, Jon, Jeff, Andra, Mary, Angelica, Brayden, Ashlind and Alexis; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; her parents; and one brother, Walter Roberts.
