A two-vehicle, rear-end collision occurred Friday at 2:30 p.m. on U.S. Highway 12 two miles west of Dayton. According police, Leo Fletcher, 67, of Quakertown, Wash., was driving a 2014 Van Hool full-sized transportation bus and had slowed down for traffic when his rig was struck in the rear by a 1996 Ford Aspire driven by Kristina D. Davis, 28, of Dayton. Davis and her passenger, William R. Sandefur, 32, of Walla Walla, were transported to Dayton General Hospital. Hospital staff would not release their condition.
