Musical smorgasbord served up at Main Street Studios


WALLA WALLA — The Shook Twins will perform at 8 p.m. today at the Main Street Studios, 207 W. Main St.

The sisters from Portland are the core of the quartet. Their sound is made from banjo, guitar, electric and upright bass, mandolin, guitar and drums. Their vocal harmonies create a unique blend of folk, roots, groove and soul. Tickets are $12-60.

Cody Beebe and the Crooks will take the stage at 8 p.m. Saturday.

Their music is described as country, Americana and blues roots. Tickets are $12-$15.

The Nick Moss Band with Steel Toed Slippers will perform at 8 p.m. Sunday. The group is currently on tour, playing music from Moss’ most recent album, “Time Ain’t Free.”

Guitarist and vocalist Michael Ledbetter, who is related to the legendary Lead Belly, will be with the band.

The Los Angeles band plays classic American rock with soul, funk and blues with jazz influences in the mix. Tickets are $12-$15.

Stand-up comedy with Gabriel Rutledge, Mike Coletta and Daniel O’Connell will bring some laughs to Monday night. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10-$50.

Paper Bird, from Colorado, will perform at 8:30 p.m. on June 19 with a blend of indie folk, roots and Americana. Tickets are $12-$60. Doors open at 8 p.m. for this show.
