First let me introduce myself. I am retired sheriff and I live in Joseph and I am concerned that we elect the right people to represent us in Salem and Washington D.C.
We haven’t done so well recently with some choices. I am a military veteran having served honorably in the U.S. Army from 1965 through 1968 with duty in Vietnam in 1967 and 1968. After that I served my community in law enforcement for 35 years.
I know Greg Barreto, running for a seat in the state House from District 58, is a man who supports our veterans 100 percent. Although not a veteran himself, he has donated to their causes for years and will fight for them and their benefits in every way.
He is a successful small-business man in Union County. He knows how to do things not just talk about doing things.
Political campaigns are full of untruths and half truths. Be sure you know the facts and not the misleading casual statements of some that are simply designed to mislead and to distract you from the truth.
Greg will represent all our interests in Salem from the viewpoint of the citizen. He is one of us as it should be, and not that of the government. He has the integrity and the character and will not be changed by the establishment or the designs of career politicians when he is elected.
Don’t settle for second best in the coming primary election. Greg Barreto is my choice for District 58 because he is a doer and a person who will represent us all well.
