The hometown baseball team is preparing to enter its fifth season of West Coast League baseball and is looking for summer staff members, according to an announcement.

Local residents looking for an engaging and fun environment in customer-service-oriented positions with attention to detail are encouraged to apply at wallawallasweets.com . Applications are also available at the front office, 109 E. Main St.

The paid positions are part-time and ideal for those either building a resumé for a future career or seeking extra cash, the announcement said. Complete job descriptions and online application processes are available at wallawallasweets.com/club/jobs/ .

“We take great pride in our track record of providing paid jobs to dozens of talented Walla Walla friends and neighbors each summer,” said Sweets Chief Operating Officer Zachary Fraser in a prepared statement. “Even more gratifying are the number of former team members who have used their start with the Sweets as a spring-board to full-time opportunities in a number of fields, both locally and around the country.”
