An unnamed caller reported two men jumped out of a car and assaulted another man on West Pine Street near Sixth Avenue. Police contacted the 19-year-old victim, who had been walking with his girlfriend when he was attacked. The man was uncooperative but did mention the pair of pugilists were members of a rival gang.

A 47-year-old woman reported someone used her Social Security number to open a Verizon account.
