Letter - Brief ceremonial prayer can be inclusive

The U.S. Supreme Court decision to allow brief ceremonial prayer before town or city council meetings was the right, courteous decision. It has been tradition for many towns and cities for years and all citizens are welcomed to be in attendance.

No one makes anyone attend a council meeting. Then after the brief ceremonial prayer, regular business shall follow. This is, in my mind inclusive to all, not at all exclusive to a few.

Your personal belief; this should be a part of this ceremonial exercise. Be part of the whole experience and express your beliefs through participation, not by walking away, feeling defeated.

Inclusion is very liberating. You may make new friends. Who knows?

Wow - unbelievable - I think that's a couple of times now that there is agreement.
