Theft and vandalism reports were filed Wednesday and today unless otherwise noted.

Walla Walla

A Walla Walla Valley Transit bus struck the door of a parked car as the driver opened it to get out of his car on Alder Street near First Avenue: no injuries reported.

Police arrested a 15-year-old boy on investigation of driving a minivan without a license.

A St. John Street woman reported someone used her debit card to rent Red Box movies.

A laptop was reportedly stolen from Makus Law Offices, then returned.

A motorist in a Subaru Outback struck a truck in the intersection of Penrose Street and Alvarado Terrace. The unidentified truck struck a parked vehicle before fleeing the scene: no injuries reported.

A 1989 Honda CRX reported stolen in the 600 block of West Birch Street.

Boots and a vehicle registration reported stolen from a vehicle in the 00 block of South Blue Street.

Walla Walla County

Two-vehicle collision reporter at the intersection of Valley Grove and Lower Waitsburg roads: passenger Shawn Castaner, 27, was transported to a local hospital.

Columbia County

Werner E. Graham, 50, was transported by Life Flight to Providence St. Mary Medical Center following a single-vehicle motorcycle collision on State Route 261 near milepost 1.


Two televisions, a stereo and $2000 cash reported stolen from a home in the 100 block of Sara Lynn Lane.


A Milton-Freewater man reported finding $4,000 in items reportedly stolen from his parents home at a secondhand store.
