Three Walla Walla High School students died early today in a single-vehicle crash on Mill Creek Road, according to a news release from the Walla Walla County Sheriff's Office.
KNDU reports the Walla Walla County coroner has identified the teens as Athena Bentley, 15; Uziel Bermoy, 16; and Aidan Boede, 17.
Deputies responded to a report about the wreck about 3 a.m. in the area of 3900 Mill Creek Road, the release said.
Deputies and personnel from Walla Walla County Fire District 4 responded to the scene. The three teens were declared dead at the scene of the rollover wreck.
Speed appears to have been a factor in the crash, Sheriff John Turner said in the release, and the investigation is ongoing. Identities of the victims are being withheld pending notification of family, he said.
