The McLoughlin High School boys soccer team’s season came to an end at the hands of Stayton, 2-1, in the OSAA Class 4A state semifinals on Tuesday.
Following a 15th-place finish last weekend at the 2014 Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) Championships, Corban University senior runner Emily Childers, a McLoughlin High graduate, was invited to participate in the NAIA national meet on Nov. 22 in Lawrence, Kan.
