Walla Walla Valley Academy held onto its share of first place in the Southeast 2B League volleyball standings here Thursday night.

Walla Walla High School’s volleyball team notched its first win in the Mid-Columbia Conference this season Tuesday, when the Blue Devils went the distance with Hanford, beating the Falcons in five sets, 25-23, 18-25, 25-14, 20-25 and 16-14, at home.
Pomeroy went back to back here in Pea & Lentil volleyball tournament action. The Pirates defended their title with a perfect 5-0 run to the championship.
