The Touchet boys basketball team rallied from a four-point deficit in the fourth quarter to force overtime against LaCrosse-Washtucna on Tuesday.
Touchet’s girls had a lethargic start to their Southeast 1B League matchup with lowly Lacrosse-Washtucna/Kahlotus here Tuesday, falling behind 8-0 right off the bat.
The Touchet boys basketball team overwhelmed St. John-Endicott Saturday night, 51-20. Garfield-Palouse defeated the Indians 54-38 on Friday night.
Touchet lost its go-to player mid-way through the fourth period here Saturday in Southeast 1B girls basketball action. St. John-Endicott took advantage and tied the game in regulation. The Eagles out scored Touchet by six in overtime and earned a 67-61 win.
Touchet High School girls basketball player Cierra Jo McKeown poured in 28 points, 16 rebounds, eight steals and five assists to guide her team to a 49-35 win over Rosalia.
The Touchet boys basketball team’s defense held Liberty Christian to only 17 points through three quarters, as the Indians downed the Patriots, 45-30, in Southeast 1B League play on Tuesday.
Touchet’s girls jetted to a 17-6 first-quarter lead, and never looked back in a 55-41 Southeast 1B League victory over visiting Liberty Christian Tuesday night.

The Touchet boys basketball team had two players finish in double figures as the Indians rolled, 69-31, against visiting Helix on Tuesday.
Touchet’s CierraJo McKeown was no match for Helix on Tuesday.
The Touchet boys basketball team’s defense propelled the Indians to a 67-20 win against St. John-Endicott on Saturday. Touchet also downed Garfield-Palouse 58-39 on Friday.
The Touchet High School girls’ basketball team had four players foul out en route to a 62-36 loss to St. John-Endicott Saturday night in a Southeast 1B matchup.
After dropping a heartbreaker to Tri-Cities Prep on Friday, the Touchet boys basketball team rallied for a commanding 58-19 win against Moses Lake Christian Academy on Saturday.
It was a big weekend for Touchet’s Cierra Jo McKeown.
