Pomeroy’s Cole Mayfield scored 31 points to lead the Pirates boys basketball team over Touchet, 60-37, on Tuesday.
Touchet’s girls opened up a 24-11 advantage over Southeast 1B League foe Pomeroy here Tuesday night and won, 63-50.
Touchet High School hooper Cierra Jo McKeown lit up the scoreboard on both Friday and Saturday as she finished with a combined 58 points, 24 rebounds, 15 assists and 20 steals to finish with a quadruple-double and then a triple-double in consecutive nights.
Touchet High School’s James Kates went off for a game-high 21 points here Saturday in Southeast 1B boys basketball action. It came down to free throws for Touchet. The Indians knocked down two late and hung on to defeat Oakesdale, 52-50.
