Touchet High School basketball player Colter McKeown recorded a triple-double to lead the Indians over Lacrosse-Washtucna-Kahlotus, 54-18, on Saturday.
Fresh off a lopsided loss to Pomeroy, the Touchet High School boys basketball team rebounded with a 43-18 win over Helix on Tuesday.
After finishing the first quarter with a 19-0 lead, the Touchet High School girls basketball team coasted to a 48-20 win over Helix on Tuesday.
Pomeroy’s Cole Mayfield scored a game-high 25 points to lead the Pirate boys basketball team past Touchet, 71-38, on Saturday.

The Touchet High School girls basketball team won a pair of league games over the weekend, as the Indians beat Oakesdale, 59-42, on Saturday after downing Garfield-Palouse, 55-33, on Friday. The Indians racked up 14 steals against Gar-Pal and 17 versus Oakesdale. As a team, the Indians forced 48 turnovers.

Cierra Jo McKeown led her team to a 56-36 Southeast 1B league victory over St. John-Endicott on Saturday with 20 points, 12 rebounds, 10 steals and seven assists. Katie Skramstad helped out in the win with 14 points, including three shots from behind the 3-point arc. Abby Grudzinski also scored in double figures with 11 points.

Touchet’s girls open an early lead and cruise to a 68-22 victory over Waitsburg-Prescott in the Indians’ opener.
