1949 - 2012
Norma Lou Fine, 63, passed away Nov. 10, 2012, at her home in Walla Walla.
She was born Sept. 5, 1949, at the Burns Hospital in Orofino, Idaho, to Mervil and Nina Schilling Fine, and as the granddaughter of the late Ozella Bloodsworth Fine and Anna Guren Schilling.
Norma left Orofino early in her life to live in Lewiston, then moved to Weston and Walla Walla. She was certified through Blue Mountain Community College, Pendleton, to administer medications at assisted living facilities in Oregon. She worked later in personal health care for individual clients until her health forced retirement.
Norma was baptized and confirmed as a member of the CLC Lutheran church in Orofino.
She is survived by her daughter, Stacy Jo Carlock, Portland; and her son, Dallas Perez and Meaghan; and her beloved grandchildren, Aspen, Sydney, Meili and Emilio. Also surviving is her sister, Diane and husband Ernie Tuning of Orofino, Ida.; a niece, Shannon and family of Walla Walla; and a nephew, Jeff and family of Yakima.
Norma will come home to rest on her parent’s grave in the Orofino Cemetery. A memorial service will be held later.
