1927 - 2012
Luella Wright, longtime resident of Milton-Freewater, passed away Nov. 12, 2012, at the Odd Fellows Nursing Home, Walla Walla, at the age of 85.
Luella was born Nov. 8, 1927, in Annamoose, N.D., to Hermann and Viola Leder.
She married Frances Crossman in 1947 and had two sons, Robert and Wes. Frances died in 1955. She then married Albert Wright who had four daughters, Myrna, Nadine, Sharon and Debbie. Together they had four more children, Dale, Ronald, Robin and Tim.
She resided in the Seattle area where she owned a beauty parlor until her retirement. In 1975 the family moved to Milton-Freewater. Luella was a loving andfaithful caregiver until her husband’s death in March 1982. She enjoyed playing the organ and attending the Umapine SDA Church. She gave much love to family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Frances and Albert; brother, Glen,; sister, Lucille; daughter, Debbie; and her oldest son, Robert. She is survived by four daughters; four sons; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held at the Umapine SDA Church on Dec 1, 2012 at 3 p.m.
