Judy Ann (Shoemaker) Wooten, died Sept. 12, 2012.
Born in Buffalo, N.Y., Judy moved to Walla Walla with her father Frances Shoemaker at a young age. Graduating from Walla Walla High School in 1957 and Washington State College (University) with a degree in education, Judy spent 44 years teaching for Central Valley School District, in Spokane. She was an active alumna of Alpha Chi Omega sorority and a dedicated Cougar Fan.
Inurnment will be Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Mountain View Cemetery with a celebration of life luncheon following. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society (Spokane Branch).
