Homer Summers

Homer Summers lost his battle with cancer on Aug. 30, 2012, and peacefully died at home in Walla Walla.
Homer leaves behind his loving wife of 65 years, Mary Akins Summers; four children, Donna (Lex) Newman of Touchet, Onice (Cindy) Summers of Walla Walla, Rhonda Summers of Seattle, and Warren Summers of Walla Walla; he was a loving grandfather to 13 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held Sept. 14, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Terrace Heights Memorial park in Yakima.
Reception will follow in Cowiche.
