Kristopher Lance Claxton

1967 - 2012

Kristopher Lance Claxton, 45, passed away September 20,
2012, at his home in Walla Walla, Washington.
Kris was born March 11, 1967, in San Diego,
California, to Ken and Delores Melichar Claxton.
He moved to Vancouver, Washington with his family
while still a young child and graduated from Columbia River
High School in Vancouver in 1997.

Kris worked for Steamatic Carpet and Furniture
Cleaning and later for FSW Fire and Water Restoration.
Kris accepted Christ and was baptized on August 5, 2012.

He leaves to cherish his memory his three stepchildren:
Braden, Christopher and Amber of Walla Walla;
his brother, Kelly Claxton of Pensacola, Florida; his sister
and brother-in-law, Kerry and James McEwen of Walla
Walla; two nieces, Jessica Straw and her husband Shaye
of Lynnwood, Washington and Jaimalyn McEwen; two
nephews: Zach and his wife Samantha McEwen and Eli
McEwen; one great-niece, Gibson Straw and two great-nephews,
Jason and Oliver McEwen all of Walla Walla;
and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded
in death by his parents.

The graveside service and inurnment will be 1:00
p.m., Saturday, September 29, 2012, at the Ivy Cemetery
in Prescott, Washington. Pastor Dave Jones of the Grace
Christian Center will officiate. Memorial contributions
may be made to Helpline or the charity of your choice
through Mountain View-Colonial DeWitt, 1551 Dalles
Military Road, Walla Walla, WA 99362.
